Advocacy
We believe that bicycles can make an important contribution to the health and well-being of Canadians, and are one of the key elements of sustainable transportation. In Canada, unfortunately, the use of bicycles for sport and commuter purposes remains far behind what’s common in other industrialized countries. On behalf of our members, and the industry as a whole, we are committed to understanding more about the most appropriate role for bicycles in this country, advocating for better commuter and trail infrastucture, communicating the positive attributes of bicycle use to the public, and partnering with other organizations to ensure the best educational programs are available to the public.
